Sponsor: Builders Association of North Central Florida (BANCF)

Model: “Earn as you learn” — classroom + on-the-job

Partner: Santa Fe College (evening classes, fall–spring)

Trades Offered: Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, Building Maintenance

Class Frequency: 2 nights/week

Credentials Earned: Journeyman Certificate, College Co-op Certificate, NCCER/Mike Holt/HBI

Curriculum & Requirements

Eligibility: Apprentice must be 18+ and work for a BANCF member.

Curriculum Providers:

  • NCCER – HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry
  • Mike Holt Enterprises – Electrical
  • HBI – Building Maintenance

Training Hours:

  • 4-year programs: 8,000 OJT + 600 classroom hours
  • 2-year programs: 4,000 OJT + 300 classroom hours
